Being a single mom, I found it very hard to have a balanced diet especially since it’s been something I’ve always struggled with since I was a kid. Healthy food wasn’t exactly a priority. So, I decided to reach out to Erik about a month and a half ago to help improve my eating habits not just for me but to be a good example for my son.  I was initially nervous of being criticized or scolded for the way I eat but fortunately that wasn’t the case.  He helped me identify opportunities and highlight the healthy parts of my meals throughout the week and we even took a grocery store trip to learn how to interpret food labels. It’s been so helpful to be honest with him about my bad habits and understand them, so I know what’s really causing them. So far, I’ve been able to reduce my coffee intake by almost half, see a big improvement in my energy levels and start to really listen to my hunger cues to keep me from overeating.
